Clear Springs High School Football is hosting its 2nd annual Fishing Tournament!
All of the funds raised during this event will be used to support the eight-time All-District Champions Charger Football Program (2009, 2011, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, and Bi-district 2021). We use funds to purchase new shoulder pads, helmets, braces, and uniforms. We count on community sponsors to help us reach our goals so that we can help our players and coaches succeed.
Sponsorship Opportunities
The Charger Touchdown Club will host its 2nd Annual Fishing Tournament on
Sponsorship Levels:
$1000 - Field Goal Level (Best Value) - Company name on the tournament banner with all sponsors and on the Booster Club website, a half-page ad in programs for all Home Varsity games during the 2022 season and one team entry into the tournament.
$500 - First Down Level - Company name on the tournament banner with all sponsors and on the Booster Club website, a quarter-page ad in programs for all Home Varsity games during the 2022 season..
$250 - Sack Level - Company name on the tournament banner with all sponsors and on the Booster Club website.
A sponsor banner will be prominently displayed in a visible location at Jackie's Brickhouse during the final weigh-in with the names of all sponsors. The sponsor fee is a tax-deductible donation for your company.
We will also be holding a cash RAFFLE on the day of the tournament, with the winners announced just before the winning tournament team is revealed. We need donations - some examples would be store or restaurant gift cards, rods, reels, fishing excursions, etc. This is a tremendous opportunity to advertise your services to a broad customer base with minimal cost. Items donated for the raffle will be picked up at your business at a convenient time for you.

Rules and Regulations
Open to anyone with a valid Texas Fishing License. 1 to 4 member team. Professional guides may be used at the individual's expense. All Texas Parks and Wildlife Rules and Regulations will apply.
Fishing boundaries are no more than one mile offshore between Hwy 332 Bridge in Freeport and the Hwy 124 Bridge in High Island. A team may fish or launch from anywhere between these boundaries.
Your team may launch your boat at any time, but fishing does not begin until 6:00 am March 21st. All fish caught must be caught on rod and reel. Live bait or artificial may be used.
All Team Members must remain within 100yds of each other while fishing.
A maximum Team Stringer consists of no more than FIVE eligible Trout, Redfish, or Flounder, with no more than TWO eligible Redfish.
A legal Redfish must be between at least 20" and not greater than 28". A legal Trout must be at least 15". You can weigh-in only One Trout over 25" per team. A legal Flounder must be at least 14".
The weigh-in opens at 2:00 pm and closes at 4:00 pm at Jackies Brick House. You must be in the weigh-in line by 4:00 pm or you will be disqualified and your fish will not be weighed (NO EXCEPTIONS).
Please exercise good stewardship of the environment and sportsmanship to fellow competitors. Any team that violates any tournament rule, or any state or local game laws may be disqualified without refund.
In the event of severe inclement weather, the tournament may be postponed or rescheduled for a future date.
Participants are responsible for knowing, understanding, and abiding by these Rules. Questions and comments concerning any Rule may be directed to the Tournament Director. In all tournament matters, the decision of the tournament director and committee are final.
